Questions & Answers

What Time Does Church Start?

Our Sunday worship service starts at 11am. Join us afterward for a time of fellowship (a.k.a. coffee, snacks, and catching up)!

Do I Need to Check In?

When you visit Weiser Christian Church for the first time, you’re welcome to stop by the greeting table in the foyer to say “hi!” and introduce yourself, but feel free to head straight into the service if you prefer.

Is Childcare Provided?

Childcare for ages 0-3 is available in the nursery, but kiddos of all ages are more than welcome to stay with their families for the main service. Activity boxes are available for anyone who needs a little extra help staying occupied during the service. We also have a nursing mother’s room available just outside the main sanctuary, where you and your little one can still listen to the message.

Do Students Meet on Sundays?

Sunday School classes meet at 10am, before the main worship service. K-5th will also have the opportunity to be dismissed after worship for their own large-group “Children’s Church” gathering.

Where Should I Park?

Both the main parking area and church entrance are found on State Street. Handicap-friendly parking spaces are available. You’ll also find a few additional street parking spaces on 2nd Street.

What Accessibility Options are Available?

We make every effort to make our worship services as welcoming as possible. Listening devices are available in the foyer for those hard-of-hearing, and mobility aids are available as well. Let one of the greeters know if there’s anything else you need!

Do You Meet During the Week?

We have a number of small groups and Bible studies that meet throughout the week, both at the church and around town. Check out our Groups page for a full list of our current mid-week study opportunities.

What Do You Believe?

We know that doctrine is an important part of finding a church to call home. We’ve broken down some of our core beliefs on this page.

Do You Practice Communion?

We practice open communion at Weiser Christian Church. Everyone is welcome to participate as they feel led.

We believe the Lord's Supper is an act of obedience to the Lordship of Christ for every Scripturally baptized believer. It is to be administered with bread that does not have any yeast in it and grape juice that does not have any alcohol content. Both the bread and the juice are symbolic of Christ's sinlessness and atonement for our sins. As often as we partake of the Lord's Supper, it will be with solemn respect and remembrance of the Lord.

Can Someone Pray With Me or For Me?

Absolutely!

Around the church, you’ll find jars and offering boxes where you can place your prayer requests. You’re also welcome to submit a prayer request online. All prayer requests (and praises!) are only seen by church staff/the prayer team unless you specifically note otherwise.

We also have a prayer phone chain posted in the foyer if you’re unable to visit in person. You can call any number on that list, and your prayer request will be passed along to each member and prayed for immediately. For in-person prayer, just tap any church member on the shoulder and ask! Whichever method you choose, you’ll have a whole army of people walking alongside you through whatever you’re going through.

Still Feeling Lost?

We get it… and we’re here to help! If you have any questions about who we are, where we’re located, or how we do things, just ask.
